Timed to coincide with April Fools’ Day, “I’m With Stupid” widely celebrates jokes and foolishness. The $tatus Faction created this new body of work with an explorative focus on the broad humor spectrum, ranging from satirical, witty, slapstick, sarcastic to outright quirky cultural references. Developing a mixture of traditional paintings, digital works, and sculpture, The $tatus Faction promises a laugh-at-life showcase.
The $TATUS FAcTion (T$F) – located in hollywood & established in 2007– T$F is a well-known and respected multi-dimensional collective comprised of artists, designers, and elite creative individuals. The $tatus Faction has no rules, restrictions, or familiarities. having no mold to the collective’s configuration helps foster their carefree mind-set, freeing T$F from conventioal stereotyping and social conformity. Standing in the midst of it all, neither higher nor lower, with all those who are working and struggling is The $tatus Faction.
