Welcome to the World of Physical Goods

>Hello Everyone<

Welcome to the official site for Physical Goods. This store has been a vision of mine for a few years now and I’m excited to say that it will become a reality this winter 2010/2011.

Physical Goods is a brick and mortar store/gallery in Los Angeles that will sell original goods made by independent artists. It will have everything from Fine Art, Clothing, Merchandise, Posters, Books, Photography, and anything else that inspires beauty.  In addition to this, the future of Physical Goods is to begin work to integrate a world-wide community of like-minded artists and designers by providing a digital storefront to help provide exposure to street art, graphics and all things independently fresh.

I believe art is one of the cornerstones of enjoying life. Whether it be a painting, a vinyl toy figure, or a pillow on a couch, these things bring people joy and I want to bring that spirit to my store.

Right now, I am in the middle of location scouting with a fantastic commercial real estate broker. There are 4 potential properties that I like, so we are now crunching the numbers and waving pros and cons of each. Then it’s on to designing the space. I have picked out an amazing architect/designer to renovate and create the perfect artistic environment.

If you would like your art to be considered for Physical Goods or if you are interested in getting additional information about what we do here at Physical Goods, please e-mail me all your info, links or questions at physicalgoods@gmail.com.

Everything is moving very quickly. Be on the look out for more updates about both our physical and digital storefronts, as well as our future openings and projects we have coming your way.

Brian
